IVth NREGS Social Audit Workshop at Pathanamthitta

The Inter University Centre for Social Science Research and Extension (IUCSSRE), Mahatma Gandhi University is organizing a workshop on ‘Social Audit under MGNREGS’ in association with the State Social Audit Unit on Friday, 23 February at Geethanjali Auditorium, Pathanamthitta. This is the fourth workshop in the series as part of preparing a comprehensive report on the social audit experiences in different districts, supported by the State Plan Fund. The key officials of the NREGS in the Pathanamthitta district, including BDOs, Joint BDOs, and representatives from the Blocks and Panchayats from Pathanamthitta will participate in the workshop, along with the Pathanamthitta social audit team.

Prof TM Thomas Isaac, former Finance Minister of Kerala will inaugurate the workshop. Dr. N.Ramakanthan, Director, Kerala Social Audit Unit, will deliver keynote address.
