KCHR – IUCSSRE Public Lecture – Moralities of Land ‘Reclamation’: Church, Agrarian Expansion and Migration to Malabar

Kerala Council for Historical Research (KCHR) is organizing a Public Lecture on “Moralities of Land ‘Reclamation’: Church, Agrarian Expansion and Migration to Malabar” in association with the Inter University Centre for Social Science Research and Extension (IUCSSRE), Mahatma Gandhi University on 22 August.  Dr. V. J. Varghese, Scholar in Residence, KCHR, who is currently a faculty at the Department of History, University of Hyderabad will deliver the lecture. Prof P.K. Michael Tharakan, Chairman of the Council will inaugurate the Public Lecture. Prof G. Arunima, Director, KCHR will chair the session.  The Lecture will be held at 11 AM on Monday, 22 August 2022 at the IUCSSRE Conference Hall, Convergence Academia Complex on the MG University Campus.
